On Tuesday, my mother will probably guilt me into going on one of those cheesy, three-hour guided tours. But, fortunately, I’ll have my way, when I select the trendiest restaurant in Destin to dine for dinner.

This year, my fiancé will join us at our Destin beach rental / condo, but I haven’t told my parents that we’re engaged, let alone the fact that he’s joining us.
